Welcome to My About Page!
I'm Haley Talton, a Disney Fine Artist living in Austin, Texas. 🤠 📍
I create artwork and content that I hope makes peoples lives more magical, and inspires them to do, be, and become more. ★ ⊹ °₊
I work in my cozy & cute studio with my chihuahua, Winnie, the Holy Spirit as my source of artistry (Ex 30:2-6, 35:3-35, 36:1-2) , and a fever for life from being sick with mold illness for 5 years that no one can take away from me.

My Story:

I grew on the Disney magic ✨ — my nursery was Winnie the Pooh themed, Mickey was my earliest companion, and my mom raised us going to the parks. Disney was the basis of my childhood.
Even before I could read, I always had a picture book in hand. The illustrations captivated me - my fascination with art showed up very early in life.
I drew for the first time at the age of 2 with paper and crayons my mom gave me to keep me and my twin brother busy during a family move.

I asked again that evening if I could draw again, and couldn't stop since.

Tech Influence:
Growing up in Austin—a major tech hub—and being raised by my dad, a software engineer, computers were woven into my life from the very beginning. Even though he didn’t have much money, he made sure my two brothers and I each had our own computer. He built them from mismatched parts scavenged from old machines neighbors left out for bulky collection. Those scrappy little Franken-computers became my gateway into a world I instantly felt at home in.
That early comfort with technology, paired with my deep love for art, is what pulled me toward digital art. I taught myself how to digitally paint in high school, and later, in 2022, I taught myself how to 3D sculpt. Even now, the intersection of computers and art is one of my biggest passions—it's where I feel the most creatively alive.
Growing up early on a computer shaped my style now. I grew up playing all kinds of video games! I'm very much a y2k, internetcore, retro- gamercore, and frutiger aero aesthetics girl!

Love For Disney:
My parents took me on my first Disney trip when I was five years old. I have been at awe with the artistry and craftmanship of the Disney parks ever since. Through the years I've been blessed with the ability to visit Walt Disney World 16 times, and these trips, of course, left a significant impact on my life.
I knew I had to find a way to combine my natural passion for art and my newfound love for Disney!

Middle - High School:
In school, I took as many art classes as I could. I even took summer classes to free up credits in order to take more art classes during the school year.
I participated in as many art competitions as I could, and won many awards including 3 best of show award wins, 2 state seals, and a scholarship from Cordovan Art School.

Art Education:
Despite being accepted to Texas A&M, I chose to customize my art education to save time and money by spending three years studying with CG Master Academy — an online art school where you learn directly from working professionals in the industry. My instructors included renowned artists such as Tyler Edlin, Peter Han, and more, whose guidance deepened my fundamentals as an artist. I further developed my skills through courses by Ahmed Aldoori, and RossDraws, and a mentorship with Lexin Yuan (@qrbits).

Here's some of my favorite school work:

Design Excercises:

Redesigning Hello Kitty's Penthouse from the Game "Hello Kitty: Big City Dreams"

Freelance Work :
While in school, I took commissions making art for Twitch Streamers. This included emotes & badges, screens, panels, panel art, profile/logo art, and even designed merchandise for streamers! I worked for streamers such as @JennySmiles and @MrMasterWong on Twitch.

Present :
In 2022 I started building my portfolio for Disney, determined to achieve my dream. I bet everything on that dream—and on June 5th, 2025, it finally came true when I officially signed as a Disney Fine Artist.
